I think buying knives in the UK is a complete rip off have a look HERE... I have all of them because the dollar is so weak against the pound

have you got shares in the company or something?! to be honest, with knives you usually get what you pay for...i used to buy cheap knives. only thing was,i spent more time sharpening them than using them! i have a colt ridgerunner now,had it a while and not sharpened it yet.still sharp as a razor.

i dont use a special knife to be honest i prefer squeezing the guts out although you still need a knife for the male rabbits as you cant squeeze them... its a much cleaner process and takes a few seconds. but if i do use a knife, its just anything i can get my hands on which is usually just a small flip knife,, and that works :D

cheers

I can tell you first hand that these knives are rock solid and very sharp but if you like import tax and VAT added to buy the same or similar in the UK be my guest :whistling:

This company has never let me down yet and if you buy anything from them you won't regret it...

No I don't have shares in this company but I am a very satisfied customer ;)

no offence intended but they look just like the ones you get at the car boot for a couple of quid apiece! and new knives are always sharp....but do they hold an edge well?!

They are all made of 440 stainless steel and hold the edge very very well and look really good. The pictures you see of them don't do them any justice (they should sack their photograher :D) In real life once you hold these knives and use them they ouse quality and are rock solid. If you brought the equivalent in this country them you'll be paying anything from £15 to £40+ easily ;)

I've even got all the Balisong knives and customs don't even bother :whistling:

Knives become seriously personal and what one likes another hates (even for the same job)...if it works for you and you like it then crack on...for me the hooked knives are a pain in the butt, never found them any use for anything from squirrel to deer..but if you get on with them great!!!

 Nice knife but still very expensive and cumbersome. Fantasy knives only have one place ie in a display cabinet or something like that. They a really designed for killing and no good in the field as you can't fold it up and put it in your pocket, I'm sure PC plod would gladly put the handcuffs on you for carrying that about, whereas if you have a folding knife and a genuine purpose for it's use at the time PC plod stops you, then you are more likely to get friendly advice from he or she and be sent on your way ;)

HeHe :tongue2: actually that monstrosity lives in a dusty old drawer, looks very macho, but doesn't even have an edge ;)

This is the little blade I use for gutting n skinning, opens one handed.

For paunching rabbits I use a snap blade craft knife!

Get em from the pound shop.

Just show about 1/4 inch blade at the end and quickly run it down the belly.

Very rarely snag the gut and when its blunt snap off and startt again!

Got lots of other knives as well but this is quick and cheap!
